This Lean Six Sigma (LSS) microlearning was created using 7 Taps to solve problems in the end-to-end work processes at Company XYZ. Managers were discovering too many errors, inconsistencies, and defects in work product. The enabling objective is to introduce LSS methodology to employees at Company XYZ so they would gain an understanding of what the process is and how it's applied on the job. The business goal is to ensure all employees are then able to incorporate the Lean Six Sigma methodology into their work processes to reduce errors and improve the bottom line. The learning objective is to apply LSS principles to real-life work situations. To evaluate the effectiveness of the training I use Kirkpatrick's 4 Levels of Evaluation. For level 1, employees fill out a survey. For level 2 evaluation, I include knowledge checks that can be tracked by the LMS, and a separate assessment to dive deeper into application to real-life scenarios. For the Level 3 evaluation, managers are tasked to observed on-the-job progress and conduct 1:1 conversations with employees.
